Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate; set aside.
In a large bowl, mix sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice.
Spoon apple mixture into the crust-lined pie plate. Dot with butter.
Top with the second crust, seal the edges, and cut slits in the top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
